Deformed Bar (Y-bar)
- High-tensile reinforcing steel bar with surface deformations (ridges) designed to form a strong mechanical bond with concrete.
- Enhances tensile strength and reduces the risk of cracking.
- Applications: Reinforced beams, columns, slabs, foundations, precast products, infrastructure, and heavy construction.
- Standard sizes: 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 16mm, 20mm, 25mm, 32mm.
- Standard lengths: 6.5m and 13m (custom lengths available).
Round Bar (R-bar)
- Mild steel reinforcing bar with a smooth surface and lower yield strength than deformed bar.
- Typically used in non-structural applications where high tensile performance is not required.
- Applications: Light reinforcement, dowel bars, architectural concrete elements, general construction uses.
